This afternoon we set off to do a little picture-taking. Our photography club is in the middle of a "Mystery Tour"--which entails taking 10 photos on the topic of one's choice, and putting them in a portfolio to be judged. The contest is due the first Tuesday in November. The photos all have to be taken along Route 37, or in any towns along that Route between Effingham and Cairo. So far it has been a more difficult assignment than I had anticipated. I did shoot a few more photos today, and we ended up in Carbondale! Surprise, Surprise. Thus the title, "feels like home", as Carbondale still feels so comfortable, and I am now in Common Grounds Coffee House and going to try posting a photo at higher speed internet. So here goes. Today's Journey was delightful!
Here is a picture of a little tree frog that was hiding among the rocks on our table on the deck. Isn't he adorable? He calls the umbrella "home".
Till next time---God bless you all.
