It is that time of year again, and we are preparing the nest for our Canadian geese. Leon took the float-boat out to our little cypress island, and put some straw there for to help the goose out a little.
I love the cypress knees and thought this was a good picture of Leon making the nest for the goose. There are several pairs of geese on our pond and one was up there checking out her nest before we returned to the house. They are a little spoiled.
Then on to the next thing!!! Yes, Leon was up on our roof, doing "squirrel-prevention". He took the topper off and re-did the wire around it. Then hoisted it back up there and put it back in place. I stood with my cell phone in hand, in case I needed to call 911. Yes, a lot of praying has been going on. But the Lord's angels were with us and all is well and safe. Praise the Lord. Well, gotta go for now. On to the next stop on our journey--the dentist!

You really do need to rest and go to the coffee shop after all that work...It is such a blessing that you and Leon are able to do as much as you do. I am going to Walgreen's tomorrow to get me some Nutra Joint...I remember Mom taking Knox Gelatin to make her fingernails grow long and strong...Maybe Nurta Joint will do the same for my bones. Keep up the good work..I know you and Leon are looking foward to all of us building our little homes around your pond...With Willie and her knee surgery, Emma and her should surgery, Larry and all of his problems, Garry and his blood pressure and me and my leg, you'll shouldn't have any problems finding the time to take care of all of us :) ...Love
That is shoulder surgery for Emma...and I forgot about George and his recent surgery...Rois is in pretty good shape for the shape he is in :)
D-would love your place with the pond & etc, so tranquil. Leon-Up on the roof WOW!!! I know you were on pins & needles Virg. I know every time they clean our roof or have to do a repair, I to have the cell phone on me every minute. Makes my stomach curl! Our plumbing & Cable & etc. is all in the attic and if they have to go in the attic for anything I tell D he must be here.I
am glad Leon you are in such good health. Since you don't go to Dr's of course you don't know what all is really going on inside. After the past few months with me maybe that isn't all bad.Later, W & D SCC Fl.
