Last week we had another snow! And I knew that the time was short for photo opportunities, so out I went with camera in hand to capture the views in our woodland. It was so pretty as the snow had stuck to the west side of the trees and was a very wet snow. The air was cold, but the sun came out and the time was very limited for picture taking, as the snow melted rapidly.
Our geese came waddling up the path to check on their shelled corn. The birds are always abundant on the winter days when the cold winds blow and the snow and ice cover their other food options.

I tried the different settings on the camera to see if the "shade" mode had a better effect, as it took out the blue from the photos. It was a lot of fun, but I am still looking forward to those daffodils, and spring flowers. Next month--I love springtime!
Everyday is a new journey. Thanks for sharing in the beauty of the season.

Your pictures are great..I agree with Willie about the reflection in the globe...It snowed here for a few minutes last night...BIG fat wer flakes that accumulated fast and went away as fast. It was pretty and I will miss seeing the next snow when I return to GA tomorrow.
